The Providence String Ensemble is a conceptual creation  featuring a core of highly trained classical musicians, with a pool of back-up musicians to maintain the integrity of the performance requirements.  In simple terms, this translates into the ability to perform at any event without the encumbrances of a traditional quartet which can be limited, due to scheduling conflicts, emergencies, or illness.  This concept gives the client "Piece of Mind" when it comes to planning an event, with the knowledge that there will be no last minute snafu before or during the event.
